Laser Treatment For Stretch Marks Stories

What Real People Have To Say About Stretch Mark Laser Treatments
Laser treatment for stretch marks is an advanced and non-invasive method of treating stretch marks.
For those women and men who have tried other reducing methods or “miracle products” with little or no success, laser therapy can be a new beginning.
However, it’s understandable to be a little reluctant. Laser treatments can be expensive and when most of us think of lasers, we think of burning, destruction and damage. Not something we want our bodies to go through.
To this end, we wanted to put together a collection of real life stories from real people who have undergone the procedure and how successful or unsuccessful it was and why? A kind of laser stretch mark survey if you will.
Our hope is this kind of information can be an integral part of your research into laser treatments and hopefully ease some anxieties.
Below, you’ll find a few of our favorite laser treatments for stretch marks videos.
Video clips are a great resource because you can actually see the procedure being done and hear patients speak and relate their stories. The collection of videos are from clinics, TV and news programs and in our mind are genuine, not overly promotional, and objective.
After the videos, you can find stories from our readers in the comment section below. We will publish each one as they come available. Enjoy…

Some are worried the laser procedure might be painful, however it’s quite gentle. My treatment was a more intense laser procedure, so a topical numbing cream was required. I wouldn’t even label it as pain as such – more like a strange sensation. I found the 2 treatments I had done very effective. The marks on my thighs and tummy are virtually unnoticeable. Love the laser!

When I was pregnant with my boys, Ashley and Avery, I had especially ugly stretch marks on my abdomen. I also had a few on my outer thighs that weren’t as unpleasant, but bad enough to cause me grief. I had some minor stretch marks on my lower back and thighs from when I was a young girl, but they were hardly noticeable compared to my pregnancy marks.
I love my boys dearly and consider it the most wonderful experience of my life, but the stretch marks had tainted the experience because they had really messed up my confidence. After about two years, the redness of the marks were mostly gone, just a pale pink, but still quite noticeable.
I’m quite active. I love to swim and run with my boys in a jogger. I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but the stretch marks made my belly look horrible. Although my husband often said I was even more beautiful than before (my sweet liar), I wanted to feel beautiful and confident again. I know I should have felt proud of my body, but honestly, I felt ashamed of it.
I was desperate to do something about my stretch marks. After some research, I decided stretch mark creams really only promised to lighten and fade the marks. This was happening naturally on their own, but wouldn’t go the extra step and address the slight furrows of my marks.
I consulted a dermatologist who was very straight forward and honest with me. He told me laser therapy could remove the rest of the redness and possibly smooth the skin a bit, but there is no method that can completely remove the stretch marks for good. I was excited there was finally a coarse of action. Some hope.
I had four treatments over a three month period and I love the results. I’ll do probably one or two more treatments. If you look close, you can still see my marks, but they don’t draw the eye like they used to. I am extremely satisfied with this procedure and would recommend it to anybody. Now my husband is not so much the liar he used to be.
